What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work, keep you signed in where applicable, remember preferences, or understand how a site is used. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels.
How we use cookies
House On Frame uses cookies and similar technologies sparingly and in line with this page. On the public marketing Site we may load tools that help us show a newsletter or updates signup (for example MailerLite). Those providers may use cookies or local storage to remember preferences, limit how often a form appears, or operate their service. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site behavioral tracking on the public Site. Where required by law, we obtain consent before setting non-essential cookies.
Cookies you may encounter
- Essential / authentication (CMS). If you visit our content management or admin area (URLs under
/cms), we use cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in securely (for example, session cookies associated with our authentication system). These are functional for staff and authorized users; typical visitors browsing the public Site do not receive these cookies unless they sign in to the CMS. - Functional (CMS UI). When using the CMS dashboard, we may store a preference such as sidebar open/closed state to improve the admin interface. This applies to logged-in CMS use, not general public browsing.
- Newsletter / marketing (public Site). If you see a signup form or popup from our email provider (such as MailerLite), that provider may set cookies or use storage on your device to deliver the form, remember dismissals, or measure basic interaction. Our Site may also store a local value so the prompt does not appear on every visit (for example, at most once per week). See our Privacy Policy for how signup data is handled when you submit it.
Managing cookies
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking all cookies may affect features that rely on them (for example, staying signed in to the CMS). For more information, see your browser's help documentation.
